This episode delves deeply into two very important topics for the environmentalist: cultural appropriation, and sustainable sourcing. Frankie talks about two historical plants that have made it into a lot of homes: White Sage and Palo Santo. They talk about how their popularity came into being, and why consuming these things without context, knowledge, or thought directly harms Native and Indigenous people. Daniel talks about plant poaching, and specifically the Venus Fly Trap, and why getting ethically sourced plants is better for the environment, and what exactly that means.

(In our opinion: If you don't know where your plants come from, ask. And if they wont tell you, run.)
