Olympia Project - Large master planned community proposed west of Puli Road from Tropical to Farm. Planning commission meeting March 10 @ 6pm on whether to rezone. Phase 1 proposed 1,500-1,700 units. Overall vision a total of 6,000 units over 270 acres. If planning commission meeting is successful it will go to a vote in City Council chambers in April. They have not determined whether it's only 1 master planned community or more. Anyone with an opinion is encouraged to attend meetings or send in letters or postcards. Postcards are only sent to those who live close by but anybody can send in written correspondence that will be recorded.

Providence HOA does not take a position on this issue or any other political issue. There is some concern however over the linear park beside us as it would be unsupervised, large and few roadways. New development would have to look at re-evaluating grading as parts of new development would be looking right into Providence houses.

Centennial & Shaumber - Another apartment complex behind Aviante Apartment complex is planned. There will be increased density. Shaumber will eventually be expanded to 2 lanes. They will be installing traffic control devices along Shaumber and Puli Road.

Huckleberry Park - Approx 60% complete. Pouring footing next week and installing curbing for splash pad. Park opening will be May 30. Issues with plumbing with the bathrooms however bathrooms are open again. They had to flush the plumbing line for 3 hours due to pressure issues. There is approximately $500,000 that will be used on the line of credit. There are 3 change orders still to be completed. City of Las Vegas fixed both gates at dog park. Issue with residents pulling on the gate. There will be further discussion on whether to keep small/large breeds in separate runs.

Knickerbocker Park - After recommendation from homeowner the floodlights into the dog park were installed. There are motion activated lights as the park has set hours and homeowners don't want the lights on all the time.

RFP for lighting replacement. We have 53 bollards but are replacing 33 bollards with actual light posts.

Irrigation Renovation - Project Phase 1 will be completed Friday after rock thrower completes. Phase 2 will not start until next 2021 as we do not have the funds to continue project. Should be completed at the same time every year. Phase 2 budget will be presented to BOD later this year. There will be other landscape projects completed that fit into our reserves. Nothing proposed at this time.
