The Singapore job market is abysmal but so are attitudes of younger jobseekers, according to one SME owner in a scathing Facebook post about his interview process with 7 applicants. We examined, considered, and debated on his extensive review of the potential hires, and also threw hypothetical situations into the mix, to assess if the applicants' demands were too over-the-top. Are young talented workers in Singapore not hungry enough for jobs, especially in this bleak climate? Must we work harder or work smarter; is this even a zero-sum game?
