This is an audio version of the prologue to the Vicious Cabaret PREQUEL  novella series,  'The Dark-Pale Perspective', read by the author.

Although the novella series isn't strictly necessary to understand the world and setting of Vicious Cabaret, and is able to entirely stand on its own, it is recommended that you tune in to DPP to gain a firmer grip on certain story elements in the VC series going forward.
 
Previously, the DPP podcast( Random Arc's premiere show) existed alongside the first season of VC on the official RAE YouTube channel.
Although that is still the case (link below if you want to check it out), we were just finding our feet with the first few eps of DPP and so the audio quality is pretty poor. Currently, we're in the process of remastering those first five episodes of DPP and will then of course publish (in audio and ebook form) Book I in its entirety.

Vicious Cabaret will carry on as normal while this is being done, so in 2023, along with the the second half of VC season 2,   be on the look out for an entirely free sci-fi audio novella!
