Derik puts the LIT in Literature. Ratchet Book Club is fun stuff and you will be hooked on the stories being told. The dialogue can get saucy, steamy, and all read in a voice so perfect for this medium of media. The Stortytellers segment has been one of the most fun episode I've heard, and the creativity brought in by Derik and his guests makes it a must listen. So go on ahead and check this show out.

Derik has a great way of reading books. He covers all kinds of books and reads them all with a great voice. Some of the stories are very NSFW, so be sure to listen with your headphones on. I love the variety of books he reads. Stuff that I would not necessarily pick up in a book store, but find myself thoroughly enjoying.

Love this podcast. I started season 4 and was immediately hooked! I will be going back to the beginning of the podcast after I finish season 4. Love his honesty while reading. I'm thoroughly enjoying this podcast. FYI...you should have your headphones if you're at the office, lol.

I've completed several books now with Derik, and it is always an enjoyable experience. The Matilda and Maniac Magee series both brought me so much joy! Derik has an amazing voice and he reads the books with heartfelt enthusiasm. Derik has a genuine love of reading that comes through in every episode. This is one of my favorite literary podcasts. Highly recommend!

I was instantly hooked by the premise of this podcast. The books that are put on display for this show aren't your typical book club read, but they're entertaining as heck. The host puts his all into bringing the stories to life, and I appreciated his occasional interjections of criticism.

I have no good reason to like the trashy novels that are read on this podcast.....except Derik. This man is a masterful storyteller and his witty interjections are just perfectly timed, resulting in comedy gold. My dude, you're doing a fantastic job!

I have been listening to your podcast for a few months now and I can honestly say you are hilarious. I usually listen when I am in the car going to work and driving home from work and you really make the car ride enjoyable! Keep up the good work! I love you "ambiance cracker" books which break up the ratchet-ness a bit, but also keep us intrigued in the podcast. Your commentary about the books are usually spot on and I am usually thinking the same thing you are when unflattering or exciting things happen in the books.
