Great podcast. I love their analyses of different Wondery docuseries especially. It's fascinating to listen to the Wondery episode and then the Real Crime analysis after. I wish Lisa, as a non-expert, would ask questions and lead the discussion more than state her own opinions. I love her, but just. Shush.

Great podcast, I enjoyed the vast majority of episodes. However, I noticed that lately there's too many ads. In the last episode Lisa advertised bras. Seriously? Do you really have to do this? I'm fine with some personal security gadgets ads, even this one about mattresses was tolerable, but a lingerie ad in the true crime podcast? It's cringeworthy.

I love listening to Jim and Laura and their knowledgeable insight. However, I can't stand Lisa. I don't know what she really adds to the show. I was an avid listener then quit because she was so irritating and added nothing. I recently just listened to 1 episode and deleted it again because I couldn't get past her trying to bait Laura to argue with her. Lisa always thinks that she has all of the "facts"! Don't waste your time unless you want to listen to Lisa steamroll everyone.

Not bad, could be better. Real Crime Profile digs into high-profile criminal cases and gives the listener context about what happened, along with some insights from expert behaviorists. It has the potential to be a fantastic show. I think two of the hosts, Jim and Laura, acquit themselves well as sober and serious-minded. They both bring a wealth of experience working around major crimes, and it shows in their thoughtful commentary. Unfortunately, there's a third host, Lisa, who adds nothing to the show. In fact, she diminishes the show by inserting commentary that feels uninformed. It makes for a rocky listening experience, as do the incessant ad breaks. This show seems to spend more time on ads than the actual podcast. Besides Lisa and the ads, the show is great.

I listened to this latest podcast about mass shootings yet again in the USA. It appalls me, and so many others, that the ability is preserved for those with serious issues to have access to assault rifles, and guns in general. By doing nothing, the law makers and citizens are saying it's OK to kill masses of innocents, going about their lives. It's time for someone to take a serious first step to achieve a movement for change i.e. demilitarising the population. The issue of misogyny as raised by Laura is confronting as is interesting, and having listened to many true crime podcasts and living in a secular society, (though still pretty misogynistic), I think a lot of the attitudes prevail because of the strong influence of churches preaching "traditional values", which is the "secondary status" of women. So much more I could say on this subject which makes me so mad, but thanks for your input and observations. Please Jim, less yelling will be good, we get your passion!

I love listening to all three presenters and appreciate their individual opinions. Jim and Laura have such a wealth of knowledge and experience through their work and always show the utmost respect for the victims of the terrible crimes discussed and analysed. Lisa brings a non-professional (law enforcement) lense to the podcast which helps to balance the discussion. She, however, knows a lot about film and her insights into the shows and docuseries often discussed are very interesting. I love this weekly podcast and listen to it the first chance I get once it's dropped!!!! Thanks RCP team!

Always so informative and knowledgeable and love how they are passionate about victims!

Two gun grabbers....

I used to really enjoy this podcast and listened to a lot of episodes but then they seemed to deteriorate. Jim Clemente yells and interrupts. The last one I listened to, Jim kept up his usual interrupting and yelling throughout the podcast and the wonderful Laura and even Lisa would just stop talking and wait for him to stop. Interrupting is rude Jim. And stop yelling. And please stop the mansplaining. It’s embarrassing.

Beyond excellent. This is the best true crime podcast out there. Experts in the field rather than enthusiasts. The analysis gives a deeper insight than ever before. I particularly LOVE how passionate and educating Laura is when speaking about the work she does re abuse against women.

Really enjoy this podcast, very informative with high quality presenters. Unfortunately Jim screaming and interrupting his fellow presenters are extremely of putting, and just blatantly rude.

Quality. Some episodes are far more compelling than others, so there is a little bit of a lack of consistency, but overall, the good outweights the mediocre significantly so RCP is well worth a listen.

I appreciate the way Jim, Laura and Lisa present these episodes with respect to the victims. This is an educative podcast. I never knew what coercive control was until I started listening to RCP. I remember hearing the Nicole Brown series and being shocked about how little I knew about the case and what she had been through. I think the latest series about Laci and Conner is correcting the misinformation bandwagon. Thanks for your work J&L&L. I highly recommend this podcast.

Well worth listening to. The early episodes following the OJ Simpson tv series don't require viewing of the show itself. The following major cases will generally be familiar to true crime fans, so listening through or downloading bundles related to specific cases will work both work. Jim Clemente's vast law enforcement experience shines through, his take on details you wouldn't otherwise notice is always interesting. Laura Richards offered interesting insight early on but has become very repetitive and her outlook now feels a bit narrow. Lisa Zambetti is an energetic and eager host. Some of the best episodes are the random ones between the major cases, specifically the ones with Jim and a guest.

Neat to delve into experts minds about the show.

Victim first focus. They genuinely know what they are discussing.
