Carolyn Coburn, along with her daughter Megan, started Spread the Love Foundation after losing Sami Coburn in 2014. Sami was 19 years old when she took her life. A year after her tragic and stunning death, Carolyn and Megan decided it was time to honor Sami's life by promoting character education and raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of mental illness as well as the warning signs for suicide.
