João Franco from Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean grew up in Zimbabwe in the midst of political strife and corruption. Eager to leave his life behind he took a position on a boat and quickly climbed the ranks. This season he is a bosun on the Sirocco. He talks about the life altering attack on his family at age 16, leaving home, and the way the show has changed the trajectory of his life.
