With the amount of people now suffering at the hands of Lyme disease - or at least what they think is Lyme’s disease - I know this episode is going to be a popular one.
Oliver Barnett is the Founder of the London Clinic of Nutrition, and since it opened it has gained the reputation for being the leading clinic in the UK for treating Lyme Disease.
The World Health Organisation identifies that in Europe over the last 20 years Lyme’s disease has risen 65% every year. So as you can imagine Oliver has been especially busy helping people with what can be a terribly debilitating disease.
Lyme disease if also known as “The Great Imitator” because its symptoms mimic various different diseases. It can affect any organ of the body, including the brain and central nervous system, muscles and joints, and the heart.
In the interview we discuss:
What Lyme’s Disease actually isHow people contract Lyme Disease and how it can be passed onWhy the rate of Lyme disease has risenWhat tests are best to diagnose Lyme diseaseWhat symptoms you should be looking out for if you think you have Lyme’s diseaseHow you can best protect yourself from ever getting Lyme diseaseHow mould toxicity is often mistaken for Lyme disease and how mould can affect your healthHow you can check for mould & much, much more
In the interview we really did cover all bases , which is exactly what I wanted to do because I know from personal experience how much Lyme disease can negatively impact someone’s whole life, not just their health.
So if you are going through any issues yourself with Lyme disease (or you know someone who is) then this episode really will give your some of the answers you have been searching for.
