There’s nothing quite like broken bones & surgery to derail a podcast production schedule that is in its infancy, but we have persisted, and the podcast is back this week!

I’m so thrilled to share this conversation with Bear Hebert. Bear (they/them) is a countercultural life coach, business consultant, and social justice educator. Their work helps humans bring their lives in greater alignment with a vision for liberation.

We talk about being “right-sized,” meaning how to take up adequate space in a world of intersecting systems of oppression; about the importance of employing a diversity of tactics when working towards liberation & social justice; and about imperfection and not throwing people away (including ourselves!) when they mess up.

Bear also shares candidly about their journey away from yoga and towards a simpler, more personally authentic spiritual practice.

Bear is such a wonderful human who is doing amazing work in the world. Their next session of Undoing Patriarchy, an 8-week course designed for men who are trying to subvert patriarchy while also trying to survive it, starts on March 3rd. Please widely share & support their work!

If you liked this week’s episode, would you please consider helping spread the word by doing one (or more!) of the following:

-take a screenshot of your phone while listening, share to your stories, and tag @yinyogamagic @bearhebert_ and I so we know you’re listening!

-subscribe on Spotify and/or iTunes

-leave a 5-star review to help other people find the podcast!
