In this week's episode of Roamin' The Empire, we take a trip down to the east coast of Sicily to visit the site of ancient Tauromenium. Located among the bustle of the popular tourist destination of Taormina. The city is renowned for its ancient Greco-Roman theater that offers spectacular views of Mount Etna and the coast, but also plays host to a number of other vestiges of antiquity including a bathing complex, temple to Isis and Serapis, and an interesting complex featuring an odeon and temple to Aphrodite in close quarters to each other.
