Not to be confused with a number of other settlements that bear the name. Among the intriguing features of the city are the so-called fortress and a uniquely designed theater. This week's episode starts off with an update on a enigmatic Latin-Punic inscription mentioned a few weeks ago in the Sulcis episode. Then we dive into the site of Complutum, located near Madrid in the town of Alcalá de Henares. In this week's episode of Roamin' The Empire, we take a trip down to the east coast of Sicily to visit the site of ancient Tauromenium. Located among the bustle of the popular tourist destination of Taormina.
