Our guest on the podcast this week is Daniel Levin.

Daniel walked away from an opportunity to run a billion dollar business, to hitchhike around the world to find happiness and inner peace. He studied in a seminary five years and left one day before becoming a Rabbi and he has lived as a Monk in a monastery for 10 years. As Director of Business Development, he grew Hay House from $3,000,000 a year in sales to $100,000,000 a year in revenue. 

I can attest to the fact that Daniel is a rare blend of businessman and mystic who sees what others do not see, in fact we met when he was doing something I haven’t seen others do, we came together on his Mosaic podcast where he talks with strangers and had a deep conversation, that I truly enjoyed.

He tells me it has been this quality of seeing what others don’t, that has thrown him into some of the most exclusive boardrooms to help them innovate new ways of finding solutions when the old ways stop working. Daniel is also the author of The Mosaic, a life-changing fable that invites people to listen to those others do not hear, and to see the situations in their life differently.

We talked through so many different points of resonance that emerged in our conversation, as we experienced, the experience of our experience together fully (you’ll know what I mean when you listen in!). We talked about the listening revolution, how to listen in ways we can hear what people are really trying to say to us, we talked about running away from pain and how if we can stay in relationship with it, it can actually become the light for us. This felt like a true transmission of heart and soul for me (Daniel’s words) and I concur.
