When we hear “NO,” we’ve been conditioned to deflate ourselves. We don’t want to be in a position of being deflated when we want to connect with people. We want to be in our best self. Preparing ourselves to hear N-O, which is the biggest fear that people have, is ludicrous. The more you hear it, the less prepared you are to deal with it. Not the other way around.”
