Narrator Dan Cummins is great and he uses good stories, although most are pretty familiar to me from other shows. His wife, Lynze, adds nothing but little girl noises and pointless interjections, constantly interrupts the flow of the narrative and totally breaks the tension. So the show is basically a near miss: not cute enough to qualify as comedy and not serious enough to qualify as scary. If Lynze could cut her commets back by 2/3's or so, let Dan read more than 4 or 5 words without interupting, it could actually be a great show.

I really wanted to like this podcast, but I couldn't get into it. The stories are compelling, and the husband is a good storyteller, but the wife constantly interjects gasps, ughs, wtfs, etc. after every detail, even if not scary. It's as if she is living the tale rather than hearing it, or like when someone tries to change 'listening' to a story into a conversation, and this takes me out completely.

So creepy! If you like to be creeped out or spooked, give this podcast a listen. Highly recommend!

So good. You are a joy to listen to i love the interaction between you. keep up the great work. Oh i also love that you do not spend 20 mins of the hour at the beginning talking about nothing like most other podcast.

I listen for the stories to keep me entertained while at work, but I can not stand anything Lynze says. She may be one of the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen when it comes to her spiritual beliefs. She has no problem ridiculing and judging other's beliefs, but then turns around and rants about her stupid crystals and claiming their effectiveness. The stories she picks read like terrible fanfiction written by edgy teens. Do yourself a favor and stop the episode as soon as Dan is done with his stories.

Loving this podcast, I listen to it half as a podcast and flick to YouTube to see the pics. Both hosts are fantastic, but Dan is an epic storyteller which amplifies the scariness.

Funny and spooky, and I love them.

The upside: Great stories, great storytelling and great production. The downside: Constant interruptions and over-the-top acting/annoyances from the Co-Host that pulls you out of every story and makes me say out loud, “No, you GTFO!!!” while listening. I tried to let it go, but it’s impossible after a while.
