Join us for a case that is told from the unique perspective of someone who was right there, as it unfolded... as it happened - Lian Highet - one of our loyal patreon supporters. Thank you Lian. In the mid 1980's, William Beggs picked up 28-year-old Barry Oldham in a Newcastle nightclub, before taking him back to his flat for sex. But it wasn't just sex that Beggs had an appetite for that night. He had murder in mind. After having sex with Barry Oldham, Beggs murdered him before attempting to cut off his head and legs. He was caught and given a life sentence for this senseless murder, but in a shocking twist, he ended up serving less than two years. In 1989 his conviction was quashed after appeal judges criticised evidence led by the prosecution. But he was back in prison two years later after being convicted of slashing a gay man at his flat. Beggs was released early from his six-year sentence in 1994 for good behaviour and moved to Scotland some time later, but he could not keep a lid on his violent tendencies... Join us to hear about the life and crimes of William Beggs - The Limbs in the Loch Killer.
This week we dive head first in to the life of Google executive Forrest Hayes. Working for Google's secretive division, Google X, Forrest was adept at keeping secrets and this came in handy when it came to leading a surreptitious double life of debauchery behind his wife's back. One Friday night, when his five kids were tucked up in bed and his wife was relaxing in the family's $3M home in Santa Cruz, California, Forrest was out on his boat, having heroin injected in to his veins by a glamorous 26 year old by the name of Alix Tichleman. Forrest had met Alix on the infamous website Seeking Arrangement and the two had agreed to meet up for a drug fuelled sex session... Unbeknown to Forrest, this liaison dangereuse would end in his untimely death.Theme music thanks to www.bensound.com and mixed by Wiltshire's finest DJ's www.discosuperstars.co.uk.Support the show at www.patreon.com/seeingredpodcast.Find us on Facebook, Instagram and twitter.

Julie Dart was abducted and murdered by Michael Sams in 1991. Elaine Doyle was 16 years old when she left home for a night out and never returned. Her naked body was discovered at 7am the next morning. It would take police 28 years to bring her killer to justice, but finally, in 2014, thanks to advances in DNA science, they got justice for Elaine.

For this week's episode, we revisit the case of Elaine O'Hara, which we originally covered in season one but subsequently had to take down due to, how shall I put this, reasons pertaining to international relations...?! Bethan has some interesting updates which we will release as a separate episode on Friday. If you are not familiar with the case, Elaine was a 36 year old childcare worker from Dublin who went missing on 22 August 2012. It would be a year before her remains would be discovered and to crack the case, the Garda would have to delve in to a world of depraved BDSM...Keep the show alive and make our day by supporting us through www.patreon.com/seeingredpodcastMusic thanks to www.bensound.com and mixed by www.discosuperstars.co.uk.
