This is such a fun conversation! We're talking about reasons to celebrate in our home.  We see it in God's Word from the very beginning when he was creating the world and he would say, "It was good."  We continue to see celebrations in the Old Testament as the Israelites had practices and traditions of celebrations.  We take place in the celebration of sabbath as we weekly rest and remember God's goodness.  As a mom, we're often attending or planning annual birthday celebrations. 

I love the many celebrations that come with the fall and winter seasons.  My friends with me today are masters at celebrating well in their homes.   I'm so excited to bring them to you to share about some different reasons and ways that we can celebrate as regular practices in their homes and also as seasonal practices.

My friend Becky Slamer also celebrates so beautifully with her family and brings other families alongside her in their celebrations.   Her children are 15 and 18 years old which I think is a helpful different perspective to bring.  Sometimes as children grow and life becomes differently full, celebrations begin to fade away.  But not with Becky!  Becky celebrates so well with her older children also.  She has been married fir 18 years and you can find her on Instagram @beckyslamer.
