Julian Edward is a Professor and the Director of the Learning Assistant Program at Florida International University¬. He received his Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Richard Melrose.  

His main area of research is analysis and partial differential equations. He has done research in Control Theory, Inverse Problems, Spectral and Scattering theory for Schrodinger operators as well as work in voting theory.
