Alexander Diaz-Lopez is an Assistant Professor at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is the Co-Founder of both Lathisms and the DREAMS Program, the Associate Editor of Notices of the American Mathematical Society, the co-editor of the AMS PhD+Epsilon Blog, and the co-organizer of the Mid-Atlantic Algebra, Geometry, and Combinatorics workshop.
Alex received his Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Notre Dame under the supervision of Matthew Dyer. His research interests are in algebra and combinatorics; more specifically his research focuses on Coxeter groups, Representations of Hecke Algebras, and root systems of reflection systems.
