Yet another attempt to launch a new trilogy of Terminator films, Terminator: Dark Fate has series creator James Cameron involved with the screenplay for the first time since T2: Judgment Day. It's too little, too late. Although there's a good cast, the story is not new or bold enough to grab people's attention and the special effects lack a certain weight to them. Aside from a striking opening sequence featuring some of the best de-aging effects to date, this one is worth skipping.
