This week I chat with my best friend and dog training extraordinaire, Erin Vejar. She's a longtime pet dog trainer, who was introduced to the world of autism through her current role with a non-profit organization that provides service dog training for kids on the autism spectrum and military veterans. It turns out Applied Behavioral Analysis is the gold standard in service dog training, so she is also currently studying to get her master's degree in ABA at the University of North Texas.
But that's not the best part of her story. She's also a mom of a five-year-old typical little girl who happens to call my atypical Finn her best friend. What does she think are good methods to teach children about diversity and inclusion? Listen now!
