This is a completely heart-felt podcast, and Bangs is not holding anything back. While listening to it, I was completely invested in Bangs's marriage and how it was going to turn out. I am not the kind of person who is inclined to fight for a marriage after the husband leaves for a new girl, but I wanted what Jennifer wanted, and I was hoping for her outcome the whole way through. On the negative side, This podcast is FUNDAMENTALIST Christian. I have a high tolerance for Christianity, and this tested me. If you're fine with Jesus having an active role in a true story, this might not bother you. It's...a lot. Also, I am not a fan of musicals, so the singing is just awful for me. There is a lot of it, and if you're like me, you will need to fast-forward through all of it. This podcast is adapted from a cabaret, so I guess for theatre people, maybe it makes sense? Bangs does not have a strong or versatile voice, and while each song is in a different style, all are at maximum volume. It's just really not to my taste.
