The entire Shock Waves crew is back! Join Rob Galluzzo, Rebekah McKendry, Elric Kane and Ryan Turek as they delve into all the latest horrors! First up, the gang signs off on the new trailer to the upcoming IT! We dabble in a bit of TV talk with BATES MOTEL, THE WALKING DEAD, THE MAGICIANS and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Bekah also saw THE DEVIL'S CANDY and the 1952 feature DON'T BOTHER TO KNOCK featuring a young Marilyn Monroe. Elric and Ryan duke it out over their thoughts on LIFE. Elric also checked out PREVENGE, BLOODY LAKE and PERSONAL SHOPPER. Ryan's recommends the upcoming M.F.A. Rob watched some W.T.F. films including NEVER TOO YOUNG TO DIE, BLOODY MOON, BAD TASTE, DRILLER KILLER and C.H.U.D. Then we turn the topic of discussion to the work and world of Clive Barker with very special guests Mark Alan Miller and Ben Meares! Mark is the Vice President of Seraphim, and Ben is the editor and one of the main writers behind the upcoming HELLRAISER ANTHOLOGY: VOLUME ONE graphic novel. (Shock Waves own Bekah McKendry co-wrote one of the stories with her husband Dave!) We learn about the day to day operation over at Seraphim, the unusual creative process of Clive Barker and what of his properties is being adapted for other mediums. We each get to share our stories of first discovering Clive's work, personal encounters with him at conventions, favorite material and where we'd each like to see a HELLRAISER story set. Kick back, relax and join the conversation!
