Mark and Phil discuss motorcycling, as Mark recounts a long 13,000 mile tour on airhead BMW motorbikes back in 1972. The discussion forum mentioned, R1150R.net, still exists. A few of the original R1150R owners continue to visit there occasionally. My friend from Georgia, Bob Cramer, discusses his experience riding from Munich, Germany down to Turin, Italy back in the spring of 2008. On a tour with his wife's singing group to Salzburg, Austria, Bob takes a few days to rent a bike and do some traveling down into Italy and back.
