Mark Redmond has worked in the field of caring for homeless and at-risk youth for over 40 years. Currently, he is executive director of Spectrum Youth & Family Services in Burlington VT.Redmond's writing has appeared in Forbes, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Huffington Post, Commonweal, The National Catholic Reporter, and America. His first memoir, "The Goodness Within: Reaching out to Troubled Teens with Love and Compassion," was published in 2004. His second book, "Called: A Memoir," was published in 2021.Redmond has told stories for The Moth Radio Hour, The Lapse, Strangers, and RISK!
