It's Wednesday and we've reached episode 2 of Red November! Technically this was recorded first, but who is counting? I am so, so grateful for Díana. Not only did she agree to contribute to this series, but she's been incredibly supportive behind the scenes with me as well. I feel very lucky to have connected with her and I'm sure she'll give you all that feeling in this episode. To be honest, even in covering my own Native background and talking to other people, I didn't think of the Indigenous people in South America. When Díana and I started talking, it hit me with a ton of bricks. Even though she is also on the journey of reconnecting, she said so many thought provoking things that I'm still mulling over.
If you enjoy this episode or want to talk about it further, be sure to catch me on social media! Also, if you have received your Red November Together merchandise, please post a picture! Especially you, person who bought the adorable baby onesie! I have been absolutely staggered by your responses to the first episode and I hope that you continue to enjoy the series. I appreciate all of you more than you know!
