I'm only on season 2, so bear with me. I do like the podcast, I think that the host definitely has some admirable qualities, that there is a lot of good research going into it, and that there is some amazing work that is done.However... I feel at times that the host can be a little unprofessional. I'm maybe mid-way through season 2. And in season one, the host seemed to push the family a little more than I was comfortable with to get details. I'm not sure if it was the tone of the family members that gave me this idea or... but there were definitely some moments he needed to pull back a little and let the family breathe and sort their own thoughts and feelings out.In season two, he has gone and approached someone (I would more align his actions with confronted) in their workplace. They had to go and ask their boss to ask them to leave. And if you don't think that's exactly what she did, you are wrong. I get not wanting to be a "random disembodied voice from Ontario" but, that little stunt could have cost a woman her job. And he acts like somehow he was justified because he wanted to put a name to his own face. While I am enjoying the podcast so far, I do think some things are a little much. And while the host definitely does a good job narrating and taking care to try and sort out all the details I feel inclined to say that personally, I feel he involves himself a little too much and spins the cases into something about him. Something about those moments he takes to say he "needs to take the thing" or "come back and think about this person while I'm here". He most definitely does not. And it may just be me, but that spin to make the case, research and tragedy of some of these people about him ruins it a little.Pretty okay podcast. Meh host.
