While mobile health response teams have already been developed throughout the state of MN for 911 calls, such responses have not yet been required across the board. Bill Czech and James Reilly from Communities United Against Police Brutality share info behind the current legislation and how folks can get involved. Specifically, the new legislation will be called Travis’ Law, providing for mental health crisis access to services via the 911 system, modifying Minnesota Statutes 2009, section 403.03, subdivision 1. More info can be found at https://www.cuapb.org. ASL interpretation with captions coming soon!
