In this episode, we talk about how she became a language teacher overseas and how a chance encounter in the Emirates led to her learning Malayalam. She tells us about the early days of trying to find resources for Malayalam and what she was able to do when those resources fell short. We talk about the ups and downs of learning certain sounds in Malayalam and how her experience as a teacher helped her find efficient ways to learn the language. We also talk a bit about humor in the Malayalam language, how other Malayali creators are making resources for people to learn their language and we talk about things that she loves about the culture and the food in Kerala.
