Welcome to Episode 7 of the Spiral Up podcast: “My Funny Valentine”

with Maryann “Boom-Boom” Maisano and Kim Fleck (X). 

In this episode, Mare and Kim discuss Valentine’s Day in terms of commercialism, historical context, and how we are or are not emotionally connected to this “holiday”.  

In classic Mare fashion she “lays” out her views on why V-Day is more about sex than anything else. While Kim recalls how Valentine’s Day was back in elementary school and what she did to make others feel better when she thought they might feel left out.
