The rugged mountain range of Santa Lucia, located in coastal central California in the counties of Monterey and San Luis Obispo, is the supposed domain of a group of unsettling, mysterious entities known as ‘The Dark Watchers’. Having been witnessed by hikers along the mountain range for centuries, particularly around the hours of twilight and dawn, The Dark Watchers are massive, featureless dark figures, frequently over 10 ft. tall, who silently watch travellers from afar.
