On this edition of SYE, we had the honor and privilege of being joined by Hip Hop sensation, Jalen “J-Work” Chesney!

J-Work is a Cleveland based Hip Hop artist who is a die hard Cleveland sports superfan! J-Work also happens to be childhood/best friends with All-Pro NFL running-back for the Cleveland Browns, Kareem Hunt!

In this interview, you’ll hear how J-Work got his start in the rap game and what drew his love to Hip Hop. He tells us his greatest influences and what motivates him whenever he’s writing rhymes and recording music. J-Work also gives us details on what it’s like being best friends with Kareem Hunt. How their friendship began, how their friendship continues today and some awesome stories from their middle and high school days, and beyond! And of course, you know we had to get J’s thoughts and opinions on his hometown teams! What his expectations are for the Cleveland Browns upcoming season, what the Cavs need to do to get back to Eastern conference contentions, and so much more!
