Tonight's special guest is Dr. Jaime Romo from San Diego, California, a long time NAASCA family member and volunteer who can be heard once a month on NAASCA's "Stop Child Abuse Now" talk radio show. Jaime is a 'hyphenate', a survivor-professional (an educator), who Co-Hosts the discussion show every third Thursday of the month. In his youth he experienced CSA (child sexual abuse) by clergy. Jaime advocates for adult survivors and child victims of religious child maltreatment by standing as allies and supporters in conversations and confrontations with religious institutions that perpetuate harm against them. Jaime is a long time active member of the NAASCA family, and leads the the Child-Friendly Faith Project is largely survivor-led and works at local, state, and national levels.
