Tonight's special guest is Tonni Lea from Cañon City, Colorado, a best selling author who Coaches at Healing Hearts. Tonni 's a life coach, a recovery group leader, and a minister for healing broken women. She serves those who have been betrayed, traumatized, or abused from a sex addict, and are intimacy anorexic narcissist. "My heart is to help those that have been broken and lead them into healing, freedom and joy again," she says, "giving them tools to learn and apply to their life. No matter what the partner, the husband does, they are worthy of healing and becoming strong women." She explains, "I am a warrior, survivor and thriver from all abuse." Her sexual abuse started at the age of 5 from a family member and began again at the age of 13. In her senior year of high school she became pregnant. Her marriage was full of abuse from her husband, an alcoholic, mentally, emotionally and physically abusive. Tonni got a divorce after 7 years due to his unfaithfulness. Her next relationship started as an affair. She became pregnant. "He insisted on an abortion so that his reputation wasn't tainted. I hid that for 30 years." This husband was addictged to . "I later found out that he had 6 affairs during our time together." Tonni had an affair, too, looking for affection. His ongoing affair at the end of this marriage lead to a divorce but they got remarried. Three months later his affair was still going on. They had a final divorce. Tonni was in a 12 step recovery program for 4 1/2 years. She says, "It saved my live, and gave me the ability to carry on the message to others." She also developed a video course from the 12 steps on the Traverse TV app."
