A delightful duo of true crime hosts whose names and personalities lend themselves well to an Agatha Christie-esque detective novel series. (Imagine Ms. Rosewood and Ms. Cerise solving crimes together!) Unfortunately, such a series does not exist (yet), so I will just listen to their podcast. It is well worth it. Lots of fun.
Studying Scarlet is both parts solid true crime study and creepy storytelling. The hosts are engaging, the topics are well researched and well told, and the show is easy to follow along with. I think it’s a simple yet brilliant way to keep things fresh by having fictional Friday’s. Give them a listen and subscribe now!
I LOVE Ashley and Jess! This is an incredibly well researched podcast. These ladies give all the details. Those details are often times dark, but they inject some might needed humour and commentary along the way. Subscribe now! You won't be sorry.
This show is just amazing. The research for each episode is immense, and you are the beneficiary of it. I have never listened to an episode and not walked away impressed by Ashley and Jessica's knowledge. Great show.
Ashley impresses the heck out of me. You can tell she works incredibly hard to bring the listener every perspective and potential explanation for each case she covers. Follow her in deep dives through a wide range of crimes. Sometimes they're fact. Sometimes they're fiction. But they're always messed up.
This is one of my all time favorite podcasts. Ashley brings a whole extra level of depth and information to the crimes she covers. Her empathy for the suffering of others is palpable and her disdain for terrible people (like stupidly clumsy Nazis for example) is oddly endearing. Also, she may curse up a storm but it is never uncalled for. When she curses, it's because the moment calls for such vehement expression.
They're interesting and fun to listen to! The content is great and well researched. I love the flow. Look forward to hearing more!
Ashley and Jessica are excellent podcasters. I like the
Truly novel blend of true and fictional crime, Ashley and Jess are incredibly well-informed, hilarious and deeply insightful. An absolute delight to listen to.
Ash and Jess are such fun hosts to listen to and do an amazing job keeping the listener engaged and entertained. If you enjoy listening to deep dives on current and older cases, as well as fun fictitious ne'er-do-wells, add Studying Scarlet to your list.
I love listening to these girls!
