‘Cause For Complaint’ is the seventh of a year and a day of weekly short stories set in the Split Worlds. Each story is the perfect length for a tea break and is narrated by the author, Emma Newman (who hosts the Tea and Jeopardy podcast).

The Split Worlds is an urban fantasy series featuring mad sorcerers, evil Fae and lots of tea and cake. The first three novels are out now (book 4 is coming in August!) and you can find out all about them on the dedicated Split Worlds website.

Don’t worry if you haven’t read the novels – these stories can be listened to before, during or after reading the books. Some characters are featured in both, but there are no spoilers for the novels.
