In this seventh episode, the Talking Feet team captures the conversation between by Robert Kilpatrick of the Scottish Music Industry Association and SAY Award, and Stina Tweeddale from the band Honeyblood. Bringing together the perspectives of an industry professional and a performing artist, we get an informative and engaging glance at how the music industry and scenes function in such a unique city, touching upon much of the magic that makes experiencing music in Glasgow so vibrant and exciting. They make connections between local community support and global influence, and discuss how Scotland/Glasgow sounds have helped to shape the development of modern music. They also talk about emerging artists to keep an eye on, celebrate the local record labels, make comparisons to other cities like London and of course, in keeping with our Glasgow Music Tour, they discuss the venues that serve and support live music in the city.
