Megan Burton, President of the Association of Mathematics Teachers, has good advice for those wishing to influence the future of mathematics teacher education. She shares her story of how she came to be a mathematics teacher educator, and later the president of AMTE. Our conversation has two foci - becoming a mathematics teacher educator, and leading in mathematics teacher education. Megan offers several good bits of advice, including "We're all learning on this journey," and "We lead together."
