Miranda's beginning basketball story.  Basketball camp with Ted Owens and learning the basics. 

Bubba's high school story and the walk-on process. 

-Great Coaches and mentors speak life into their players.-

Bubba went from a HS guard to 4th string college center. 1st real snaps to a QB, it didn't go well. 

-Coaching awareness is essential to see into the hearts of their players and see what they need.-

Miranda's stories of intramural basketball. 

-Your walk talks and your talk talks but your walk talks louder than your talk talks.-

5 mile run at 5:30am to get a chance to walk on the basketball team. 

"You really think you're doing something." A Big XII LB to scout team center Bubba. Just keep doing your job. 

If they say jump, say how high. Colossians 3:23. To set Bubba apart he tried to give great effort. 

-You can let anyone speak to you, but let very few people speak in you or over you.-

6 weeks of preseason basketball workouts for Miranda at 5:30am. At the end of the 6 weeks she made the team. 2 Tim 1:7. 

-Work to make yourself invaluable so they have to notice you.-

-Fill the gap that your team needs.-

-If you're gonna be known for something, be known for giving great effort.-

Both Bubba and Miranda got put on scholarship and proved their value. 

-Whether you think you can or think you can't you're right.-

-There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance which is character.-
