In the summer of 1986, 5-year-old Lisa Jensen and her father Gordon were living in Scotts Valley, California. While Lisa was away for a few weeks with a family friend, Gordon Jensen took the opportunity to skip town and abandon her. She eventually entered the foster care system and was adopted. As she grew older, though, she wanted to find out more about her past and her family. At the same time, Gordon Jensen was out and about assuming several different identities and committing crime after crime. In this episode of Test Tube Testimony, we'll learn more about genetic genealogy and how it was used to not only narrow in on a woman's biological family, but also determine the identity of a man guilty of an abduction, child abandonment, and at least one murder.
