Life is all about making decisions. Whether we make small decisions or big decisions, we must stay true to the outcomes of the choices we make in the present moment. But the truth is, my brothers, we don’t know where our decisions are going to lead us.

The future is an illusion in the same way that the past is dead and gone. All we have is the present moment, and when we are half-hearted in our decisions or we focus too much on future expectations, our life force withdraws from the present and we become victims of our choices.

One of our greatest lessons in life is to give ourselves totally to every experience, to surrender to every moment. This is the gift of commitment. Now, when I talk about commitment, I am not talking about obligation or any kind of external control that is enacted upon you. The commitment that we explore in today’s episode, my brothers, is an internal one.
