Welcome to The Anachronist, a time traveling review of science fiction old and new. Every episode we go back to a different year in history and read their science fiction. This episode we go to 2010 and 1995, and we have a new co-host Marianne! Our first story is "The Books" by Kage Baker, a fun romp about circus kids who kill an old man in a post-apocalyptic library and our second story is "Elegy" by Mary Rosenblum and is about a neurosurgeon with maybe alzheimers who can telepathically communicate with squid (maybe).
