RATING
I love this podcast sm. I was literally found by the Antique shop in the 0erfect time, when I was dealing with my own problemsAmazing writing too(I apologise if my english is not great, its not my 1st language =v=")
The writing is neat and tight, I like how the story expands and how characters grow with it. And great level of spookiness!
I really liked McIlwraith Statements and this continues the strong story telling from that with a completely different premise and character. Love the focus on people and their items and how this all seems to be affecting Maya in ways I don't fully understand but definitely want to know so look forward to hearing how it all comes together and what that means for Maya in the long run. Spooky times ahead I think
Such a well-written podcast; the story is compelling, the characters are developed so you want to know more about them, and the author is a wonderful narrator (I could listen to her read a microwave manual.)Maya gets a job at the local antique shop and finds out it's owned by a woman tasked with helping Fate keep enchanted items away from (or put items in the path of) unsuspecting customers destined to find them. Now that Maya knows the secrets of the shop, will she choose to take up the mantle? Definitely listen to find out.
Love this podcast. Neat story, great characters, amazing voice work. A+ for sure.
Original and beautiful storytelling. Loved all of it. Very well done.
Love it! Very interesting and love her accent!
Totally loved it. So great.
Writing: B+/A-Voice Acting: B+Production: BCreative use of sound: N/A"Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others." Jonathan Swift"The Mcilwraith Statement" (the "i" is capitalize in the actual title but since a capital "i" looks like a small L, it could lead to confusion) is a single narrator podcast. Actually it's a single person podcast, i. e. one person does it all. However podcaster will not identify themselves so I don't know who to thank. It's a well written and narrated podcast with an interesting take on a story about someone who see's ghosts. The story begins with the narrator talking about joining an academic investigation into proported mediums and ghosts. Their objective is to find out whether ghosts and mediums are real. They seek out mediums and places with reported ghost sitting that agree to be tested. No one in the group believes that ghosts are real. Our narrator can see ghosts but she has kept it a secret from everyone since she was a child. No one on the teams knows about her ability and she acts just as skeptical as the others. Each episode is about the investigations but there is an overall plot about who provides the funding for the research and why. There are 25 episodes where the 25th episode brings the story to a very satisfying conclusion. It's a suspenseful, eerie story well told.Disclaimer: "Those who can do, those who can't, teach. Great plot, narration, atmosphere, and continuity. One of my faves.
