Today I sit down with photographer Andrew Bernstein and sportscaster James Walker, both successful in their careers, and we discuss the world of sports and where they see it going from here as we get through the pandemic. You would think viewership and ratings would go up for sports as people are stuck at home and have extra time to be watching TV, but the opposite has proven true. James and Andrew give their opinions on why this has happened, such as people setting their priorities straight and spending less time in front of the TV. We discuss where the sports industry has gone and how much it has changed not just with the pandemic, but with technology and people’s interests as well.

“You gotta have thick skin. There’s gonna be criticism that’s gonna come from your readers, the public, maybe your coworkers. There’s gonna be criticism from all over the place. This is the time, if you don’t have it already, that you need to have thick skin.” 36:42
