I actually thought this podcast was going to be a collection of anonymous apologies, maybe brought together with a story arc about the person who created the apology line. Ha ha ha, no, this is a Wondery podcast. It is about a serial-killing monster.That being said, I am enjoying hearing this story from the perspective of Marissa Bridge, who has a huge stake in it but no control about how it unfolds. The series is structured to include lots of suspense, and despite the over-the-top serial killer podcast promotion, this is a very human story at its core, and it is told by a very human person who was inadvertently caught up in it. I am enjoying it.

This podcast, while not at all what I expected (and quite dark), was such a riveting listen that I blew through it in three days. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because 1. The sound quality isn't great, and 2. The ads throughout the show are primarily for harmful diet industry products.

Tough crowd below! I really liked this podcast overall. I usually am not a huge fan of Wondery podcasts, but this is an exception. Great content and production. Storyline is intriguing, but I do think they could have built this up a bit more.

I did my best to build an emotional connection to the story, but the vibe in The Apology Line Podcast , felt soulless to me.Sorry😖

This podcast was interesting. I wish there was more depth and detail.

The first two episodes were good. But then it got so much darker and so much more fantastical.
