Kubo and the Two Strings from Laika, come onto my radar quite a while ago, as I was browsing through the Wikipedia page of Travis Knight (Director) because of his Director position with Bumblebee. It was a time in my life when I was beginning to be exposed to a lot more than just blockbusters. Nonetheless, Kubo remained a low priority on my watch list, because I never wanted to pay money to rent it.
With this recent fix I have had on watching these animated films that have been on my watchlist for far too long, Kubo finally earned its turn. I am so glad that it did, and that I decided to watch it for The Basement Binge. It is already one of my new favorites and is just about perfect for the segments of the Basement Binge. So lets FALL IN.
