In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Nathan Bryan as he illustrates how Nitric Oxide is produced in the body and why it is one of the most important molecules for the robust health of blood vessels. Dr. Bryan received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry as an undergraduate from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Philosophy from Louisiana State University. Dr. Bryan has written 5 books in addition to a number of highly regarded articles. He is a pioneer in the fields of nitric oxide biochemistry and molecular medicine worldwide.

His Book: Functional Nitric Oxide Nutrition highlights new science that is not considered by most physicians and healthcare practitioners so patients and consumers can use this information and new knowledge to take control of their own health. The objectives are to educate readers on the importance of nitric oxide, to clearly illustrate that diet and lifestyle modifications can significantly improve nitric oxide production, and to arm the reader with information they can begin to implement into their daily life.

Fun Fact: Loss of nitric oxide is the earliest event in the onset and progression of most, if not all, chronic diseases. As we age, we lose the ability to produce nitric oxide, putting us at risk for age-related disease. This is an episode this audience does not want to miss!
