Brentford played host to Forest Green Rovers for the very first time in the Second Round of the League Cup. And the Bees fielded a much-changed side from Saturday as Ethan Pinnock captained the Bees against his old team-mates. 

And it was a game of two halves as Brentford went behind to a goal fairy early on in the match and looked ill at sorts against a lively Forest Green side. 

But an injury to Mads Bech Sorenson saw him replaced by Ajer and slowly the big guns were wheeled on in the second half - Frank The Tank Onyeka, Canos and Mbuemo coming on to flip the script completely and help put the Bees into a hat for the second round
