On today’s episode of the BRAND New You Show, I speak with Dave Chesson the founder of Kindlepreneur.  At Kindlepreneur, Dave helps authors and aspiring authors sell more books and make more money.

CAREER JOURNEY

Dave started his career as a nuclear engineer.  After spending so much time away from his family Dave decided to take a step back and take a look at his life and how he defined success.  In other words, he took the time to become self-aware.  To define his brand.

He assessed his skills, his traits and most importantly for him, his values and realized that he valued being close to family vs. the direction of his current career path.

Dave realized he had an affinity for internet marketing and decided to re-arrange things his life in order to fit this new direction in.  He decided to cut out things in his life that did not move him in his desired direction such as movie time every night and decided he would get up earlier in the morning.  This quiet morning time allowed Dave to practice and grow in his new chosen direction.  

It took him 3-½ years but Dave was able to build his side business in the margins of his life and now his side business is his only business.  Listen in as we discuss where he started, the pivots he made along the way and how he eventually become the Kindlepreneur.
