Raising a teenage daughter is nothing to play with.   Reality TV, revealing clothing, boys and dating...just thinking about all of the different factors that influence the lives of teenage girls is daunting.  So, for this episode we had to call in re-reinforcement.  Latifa Miller has been doing the work of making our brown girls feel confident and loved for nearly a decade.  Her organization, Daughters of Zion, host weekly GirlTalk sessions that assist young women in building their self-esteem, creating better mom-daughter relationships and mapping out a course for their future.

If you are struggling with raising your teenage daughter, this is the episode for you.
